mulch piles

Been with the pitchfork and DH since 8 am. Dirty and sore!

Threw together dinner first...went for mediterranean salads...spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, the remaining 1/2 can of olives, 1/2 block fat free feta (use by 25th! ACK), bit of shredded cheeses (Sorrento was 1/2 off this weekend, and with $1 off coupons, very good price!). Italian dressing, always free for stockpiling. 2 quart salads each, throw in some bread sticks or something, it's a meal.

today's mail, two freebies from Walmart. Received the free razor and case...don't forget to look in the instruction booklet they send for the $2 coupon on refills.

Haven't had time to log in and get new trains going...we do have TWO new people to run trains, so I hope to respond and get things moving along again.



But for now...rest...

    just wanted to say... i use my different bottles of salad dressings for chicken marinade... i take ranch dressing and mix it with chicken in a sealed baggie and place in freezer... i do the same thing with the italian... i have tried other dressings... it is a great way of using up the end of the bottle dressing.. and i can take the chicken staight to the grill in the summer months...

    Absolutely! French/catalina is great with steamed carrots, or chill for a summer side dish. There are more dressings out there, FREE with sale/coupon, than any other seasoning. I am constantly using them as substitutes.
