A question for all couponers!

April 17th, 2006 at 10:25 pm

Savings Advice has a sister site,

www.grocerycouponguide.com

I've offered to contribute to the site.

My question -- what do you all want from another coupon site? Advice? Information? News on coupons that AREN'T online and on every other site?

Inquiring minds (mainly mine!) want to know!

Thanks!

I'll think on this. I've already learned so much from you!!! And, I'm grateful for the work you do here, with the freebies, as well as the coupon trains!!

We're gearing up for our first shopping trip with the additional coupons from the train.... The things one gets excited about these days!!! Smile

I think a repository of companies that respond favorably to questions/comments by sending out coupons would be great. You probably already have a lengthy list.

Also, alternative sources of coupons would be great. Of course everyone knows of the Sunday paper, but you seem to get them from a lot of other places.

I'll think about this some more...

How to convince grocery stores that online coupons are safe. One of our local stores won't take them. It made me so mad!

how to obtain more coupons for a specific product that we use regularly without repeating the exact same steps, over and over, and without a limit on the amount that can be purchased each time... we need simple green, for about 6 families, who have septic tanks, i can only print a couple of coupons at a time... the families cannot use bleach products in their septic systems, so, they clean with this product and some of them have received a one time coupon from simple green... but, that was it.. and some do not go on the www.

Simple green (and an example for ANY product brand)

First thing you can do, is contact them:

    http://consumer.simplegreen.com/cons_cont_form.php

Tell them you love their products, tell them of any problems you have had (I had a bottle the trigger wouldn't work on), ask them about coupons for people who can't use printables...they will typically send you a bunch, any coupons for free products to replace any you had problems with.

    You can also call their toll free number, as can all of your friends;

"Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-228-0709"

usually for a phone call they will provide even more, sign you up for their mailing list, etc.
