FREE Sunny D free movie ticket rebate forms.

June 6th, 2006 at 10:37 pm

Okay, I'm just stunned at the black market for coupons and rebate forms.

Sunny D, the juice drink, is offering a $12 movie voucher for every two 64 oz. or one 128 oz. POP sent in. BUT...you have to have the FORM. It is not available online, or in the newspaper. There were some peelies, but apparently they were all peeled off, and sold!

You can use one form for up to 4 vouchers.

I, in my innocence, picked up some while shopping and tucked them into our coupon trains yesterday.

Today, I see, they are selling for $1 EACH!!! MORE on eBAY!

The CVS pharmacy booklet, 12 $5 off $20 coupons, is selling for over $8 on eBay.

Totally unreal to me.

I have scads of the Sunny D forms. I've asked Jeffrey about making them available to more people, without forming all these trains...not realizing that there was a black market for them.

Coupons FIND me in the stores. Don't ask for them, I keep trying to get rid of mine Smile. Time to stop shopping!

There's a market for everything and a buyer for every market. It is a sorry thing to see so many people selling these things illegally. And it sure the heck isn't what the manufacturer intended.

    I can believe it.

I got one booklet because I am disabled and will confess I was going to try to get them for friends and relatives.

I guess couponing to some is more than just saving,it's big business.

Wow - I didn't think people would sell coupons on E-Bay. I just like to use them to lower our grocery budget. When I can save money for our family, that's always a good thing.

Flash, how do I start or join a coupon train? I've never done it before but it sounds like a good idea. I'm always putting books in the mail, so an extra padded envelope wouldn't add much to the outgo.

One of my goals has been to work on lowering our grocery budget. I have the CVS book and plan to go today while I run my errands. I would rather use my coupons, not sell them. People sure are creative these days.

    It makes me livid!

Ah, decided yesterday I was getting out of the coupon game, and trains. Not wanting to be a part of it. ICKY. But, of course, the wonderful people on this site are wonderful, and it's neat to help out.

KarenSue, I have been adamant about not forming another train for a bit...but you and Lisa...well, let me know what state or region you are in, and you can PM me on the site if you want, and I'll see what I can do. For the people who actually want to save, it's fun!

Lisa, for me, nothing wrong with sharing coupons. Selling is ILLEGAL, and carries some fairly stiff penalties. People use loopholes, like paying with postage stamps to say it covered postage. A delicate line to walk, in my book. But I don't see anything wrong, personally, with trading or exchanging coupons, or sharing with friends.
